How to Calculate The Width Of A Ramp With Wings
- Ramps with winged edges are larger in size due to the wings. Ramp wings are usually a 1:4 gradient based on the height of the ramp.
- To calculate the width of a 100mm high ramp, add a 1:4 gradient wing on each side.
- Formula: Height x 4 = wing width
- Example: 100mm x 4 = 400mm wingh with each side
- Standard ramps are 900mm wide, so a 100mm high ramp with wings would be 900 mm + 800mm (400mm each wing) and would span 1.7m in total width.

Because of the recycled nature of the ramps and external factors (different rubber compounds, dust, and colour materials used per batch), custom-coloured ramps would have varying shades between batches and would be unable to replicate previous batches.
