About this loading ramp

Australian-made aluminium ramps for strong, safe loading

Sureweld 3.6 Tonne 3.5m x 450mm Rubber Series Aluminium Machinery Loading Ramps are designed specifically for pneumatic (air) tyres, and rubber track machinery.

At a capacity rating of 3.6 tonnes per pair, the lightweight aluminium ramps are ideal for loading skid steers, Ditch witches, loaders and excavators.

The unique tread surface of the Rubber Series range has been designed to obtain the highest possible strength and the lightest possible weight, together with a smooth, safe ride.

Complete with connection plates and zinc coated, steel pins these aluminium loading ramps are perfect for loading onto tipper body trucks, flatbed trucks or trailers.

Skid steers, excavators, Ditch witches, and other machinery with 3.6-tonne ratings can now be loaded onto trailers and truck beds on these aluminium machinery loading ramps. The ramps have raised sides to allow safe, worry-free loading.

Where steel tracks are to be used on ramps, please refer to the 'Track Series' which has a different tread surface to the Rubber Series.

FAQs

Will these ramps take my machine?

Add up everything that goes up the ramps: the machine, the bucket or other attachments, and the operator. Pick a pair rated above that total. The rating is for the pair, not each ramp. Check your machine's real weight with your dealer, because a 1.7 tonne excavator can weigh up to 1.9 tonnes.

How high a deck or tray will they reach?

Sureweld design their ramps for a loading angle of 18 to 22 degrees, the safest range for machinery. The deck height this ramp suits is in the Specifications (Height). As a guide, a 3.3m ramp suits decks of about 990 to 1,200mm and a 3.6m ramp about 1,080 to 1,310mm. A higher deck needs a longer ramp.

Track, PT or Rubber Series: which do I need?

Rubber and PT Series have a flat-topped rung for rubber tracks and tyres, and give a smoother ride. PT is the wider of the two. Track Series rungs are an upturned angle that grips steel tracks, steel tracks with rubber pads and rubber tracks. Track Series take tyres too but can feel bouncy, and they suit three-bar grouser steel tracks only, not single-bar grousers.

How wide should the ramps be for my machine?

Choose ramps with an internal width about 30 to 50mm wider than your machine's track or tyre width. The tracks need to sit between the side beams, because driving on the side beams can bend the ramp.

Where are Sureweld ramps made?

In Sureweld's own factory in Wangaratta, Victoria. Each ramp carries a compliance plate with its model, load rating and serial number.

Is the price for one ramp or a pair?

The price is for a pair of ramps.

How do I see the delivery price for my postcode?

Put your postcode in the delivery box on the product page. You see the freight price before you pay.

Can I buy one ramp, or replace one that is damaged?

Yes. Contact us and we will quote a single ramp.
